Drake Circus southern entrance
On the corner of New George Street and Old Town Street
Parking: Use Drake Circus car parks
Bus: Any bus to the City Centre - The Box, Mayflower Street or Royal Parade are the nearest stops
Rail: From Plymouth station, head straight down Armada Way towards the city centre, then left onto New George Street
Toilet facilities and refreshments available inside Drake Circus
Timetable:
1.00 pm - register and collect music
1.30 - 2.45pm - performance
2.45 - 3.00pm - break
3.00 - 4.00pm - performance
We will provide:
A chair
A fun, friendly, festive afternoon
Sheet music
Your music will be sent to you by email before the performance
Emails from us show whether you said you would print your own music, or if we will have it for you on the day.
If you said you would print your own music, you must do this please
We will not be bringing spare music unless you contact us to let us know.
Essential to bring with you:
Band: music stand
Band: pegs or clips to hold your music to the stand
Band: instrument (people have forgotten before!)
Everyone: Warm clothes (we will be outside without cover for 3 hours!)
Optional to bring with you:
Music stand lights
Fingerless gloves
Friends and family to listen or sing along
What happens if it rains?
Since there will be no cover over our performance space, we may have to cancel in severe wet weather.
If this is likely, a warning email will be sent to participants the day before, followed by a final decision message by 9am on the day.
